1989 Yamaha TZR250 3MA Unregistered Jap Import Classic Running Restoration
As you can see this bike is missing its chain guard. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, tyres are perished, rear brake master cylinder is not working, tank is mucky inside, much of the alloy is oxidised & ferrous parts are rusty.
The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs very nicely but the carbs need attention as they were leaking fuel.
