This well-respected and much sought after 1972 Suzuki T500J has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life.
As you can see there are a few bits missing; Emblems and light toggle off the LH switch gear being the most obvious. We also noted that; the gear lever pedal has snapped off and the throttle is stuck.
The wheels are straight and clean with good chrome rims.
Forks look straight and gators are intact.
Headlight lens, bowl and rim look ok but the chrome is slightly pitted.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
Tailight and indicators look ok.
Exhausts are solid but there are a few stains on the silencers.
Chainguard is straight.
Seat looks to be in good condition.
Its had a high-quality re-spray.
The tank is clean inside and feels solid.
When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed some fresh fuel through the carb we had it firing/running on fuel but the throttle and carbs will need a bit of attention.
