1980 Kawasaki KZ1300 A2 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic To Restore
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Side panel emblems and airbox being the most obvious. We also noticed some damage to the non- standard paint around the fuel cap and the Kawasaki badge on the front it snapped off both sides. The wheels are straight but there is some corrossion to the alloy. Also the fuel tank seems to have been sealed inside at some point.
The standard exhaust is solid. The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving using an auxillery tank to bypas the bike's tank and feed fresh fuel into the system. We only ran it breifly as the bike's airbox is missing so it isn't quite ticking over.
