This Tax & MOT exempt 1979 Yamaha XS750E DOHC has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, tyres & seat cover are perished, master cylinders are not working, tank is a bit mucky inside, carburettors are stuck & mudguards are pitted.

Sadly, the clocks have been exposed to hot sunshine which  has warped the faces.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy rims, good looking discs & calipers.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank needs a good flush-clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhaust is a 3:1 system.

Seat base is in solid condition.

Indicators are tidy.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.

Local delivery is available – We charge £2/mile from ST59JJ to your destination,

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

Minimum charge £45.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
