This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1979 Yamaha XS1100 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
As you can see the bike is almost complete missing just it's ignition key and start button as far as we can see. There are a few marks in the paintwork, a small dent in the front mudguard and also a dent in the meter cover.
The wheels look straight with good alloy.
Brakes are working.
Forks look straight and chrome is bright.
Clocks look good.
Seat is in good condition.
Tank feels solid but there is some surface dirt inside.
Tailight and indicators are sound.
There is a brand new Delkevic stainless exhaust fitted.
When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed fresh fuel through the carb we had it firing, starting, running and revving and it sounds great!

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
