This well-respected and much sought after 1980 Yamaha XS1100 Special has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life.
As you can see this bike is quite complete but we did note that; the seat cover is torn, foam is perished, the throttle is stuck and there are a few marks on the paint.
The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy.
Forks look straight with nice clean chrome.
Headlight, tailight and indicators look ok.
Instruments look good and switches move freely.
Mudguards are straight and solid but the front is slightly pitted.
Exhausts are solid.
Tank is clean inside, there are a few rust spots but it feels solid underneath.
When we hooked it up to a good battery we had it firing/running on easystart but the carbs and fuel system will need some attention.
We are listing this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer.
