This Tax and MOT exempt 1981 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
As you can see this bike has a few bits missing; ignition key and air inlet rubbers being the most obvious. There is a dent in the front mudguard and a couple of dents in the tank. Both Silencers have been welded as has the tank in places.
The wheel are straight.
Forks look straight and chrome is bright.
The headlight bowl, rim and lens look ok.
Instruments look good and switches move freely.
The tailight and indicators are good.
Mudguards are solid.
When we hooked it up to a good battery we have it starting/running on easy start but the carbs and fuel system will need attention.
We are listing this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –
Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
