This 2000 Yamaha Vmax has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life.

It's only showing 30427km (19000 miles).

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike looks complete.

It has some superficial damage –

Gear lever is bent, indicator stems are taped up,

r/h silencer is scuffed/dented at the end & tyres are both past their best.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS

The wheels look straight with good discs, calipers & working master cylinders.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid.

Exhausts are original & solid.

Seats are in very good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically quite clean –

BUT BEST OF ALL

When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, it fires, starts, runs & revs.
