1990 Yamaha TW200 Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project
This well-respected, and very much sought-after 1990 Yamaha TW200 Trailway has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 1945 miles has helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ignition key, r/h mirror & chain guard being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat. Sadly, the Ignition switch & tank lock have been forced/broken.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures. The wheels look straight with nice clean rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Taillight assy is good but lens is damaged. Instruments & switches look good. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhaust is original & solid. Seat is in good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression however it isn't sparking, a faulty CDI being the suspected cause. Unfortunatly we haven't got a replacement but you might have ? !
