This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1973 Suzuki RV125K Vanvan has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 5845 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is remarkably original but missing its mirrors, indicators & battery.

Sadly, the front brake lever is broken & the lights Hi/Lo knob is missing off the l/h switch.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

The wheels look straight with good hubs & brake plates, but paint finish needs attention.

Forks & yokes look straight.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments look ok.

Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is slightly faded but solid.

Exhaust is original & solid.

Seat is in good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression,

BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs but the kick stater does occasionally slip.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
