1983 Suzuki RG250 Gamma Unregistered Jap Import Classic Restoration Project

This very much sought after Circa 1983 Suzuki RG250 Gamma has recently been imported from Japan.

It's only showing 15119 km (9500 miles).

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. 

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Front mudguard, chainguard & the ball-end off the front brake lever being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres are perished, forks are pitted & tank is mucky inside.

Sadly, the fuel cap is broken, footrest hangers have been cut down & rear pegs are missing.

Composite 1-piece seat unit is missing the seat pad.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

The wheels look straight with working brakes.

Taillight assy looks good.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Exhausts are original & appear to be solid.

The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has -

We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
