This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1978 BMW R80/7 Boxer has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – ignition key, mirrors, side panels, headlight & rim being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims & working brakes.

Forks & yokes look straight & clean.

Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight bowl & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Exhausts are original & solid.

Seat is in very good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically very clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.

UK delivery can be arranged with a fully insured motorcycle courier.

Local delivery is available – We charge £2/mile from ST59JJ to your destination,

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

Minimum charge £45.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
