This well-respected and much sought after 1981 Suzuki GS850G has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
As you can see there are a few bits missing, mirrors and indicators being the most obvious. There is a large shallow dent in the RH side of the tank and a ripple in the RH side panel.The alloy wheels look slightly oxidised.
The wheels are straight.
Forks and yokes look straight but there is a bit of pitting to the chrome.
Headlight bowl, rim and lens look good.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
Tailight is good.
Mudguards are straight and solid.
Tank has some rust specs inside but feels whole underneath.
The exhausts are solid and chrome is bright.
The paintwork is quite bright but there are a few scratches etc.
When we hooked it up to a good battery we had it starting/running on easy start but the carbs and fuel system will need some attention.
We are listing this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer.
