This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1978 Suzuki GS750EC has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

 As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – ball end off the front brake lever and front indicators being the most obvious. We also noted that; there is a hole in the RH silencer, a large dent in the LH side of the tank and a couple of dents in the RH side, the odometer glass is cracked and much of the bright chrome is pitted/peeling.

The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy.

The forks and yokes look straight but the chrome is pitted.

The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl.

Instruments bar the cracked glass look ok and switches move freely.

The carburettors are stuck.

The paintwork is slightly faded with marks, fuel tank has some rust inside.

The seat base is solid but has some surface rust.

The indicators are tidy.

The chain guard is tidy.

Both mud guards are straight and solid but the chrome is peeling.

The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
