 This well-respected, and very much sought-after 1st edition Tax & MOT exempt 1975 Honda GL1000K0 Goldwing has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ignition key, Headlight lens & rim, & front indicators being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished, brake master cylinders are not working, Silencers are rotten, carburettors are stuck & all the bright chrome is rust pitted.

The wheels look straight with reasonably clean alloy rims, good looking discs & calipers.

Forks & yokes look straight.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight bowl & hangers.

Instruments & switches look faded but bases are good.

The engine we have had firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
