This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1972 Kawasaki F7A 175 enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 3314 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, battery & ignition key being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded, tank is mucky inside, carburettor is stuck.
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 49 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!
The wheels look straight with fairly clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome but dust seals are perished. Mudguards are both solid. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look good. Exhausts are original & solid. Seat base is in good condition throughout.
The engine is cosmetically clean, Sadly, it is seized, hopefully it will be through standing around forever, but we have not inspected the engine internally, so we have no idea why/how it has seized.
