This well-respected and much sought after 1971 Yamaha DT1E 250 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life
As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded, a few bits non-standard & a few bits are very nice indeed.
The wheels look straight but there are a few rust spots on the bright chrome rims.
Forks look straight but are pitted.
The headlight bowl, lens and rim look ok.
The instruments are tidy.
Chainguard is straight and solid.
Mudguards are solid but dented.
The exhaust is solid.
The tank has some surface rust inside but feels solid.
The engine turns over with compression but it appears the generator is incomplete so we haven't had it running.
We are listing this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer.

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
