1978 Honda CX500 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Honda CX500 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 21403 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain some of its boyish good looks.

The wheels look straight with nice rims. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguard is solid. Taillight assy is good. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Fuel tank is useably clean inside. Grab rail is tidy. The engine is cosmetically quite clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
