1968 Honda CD175 Sloper Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This uncommon little 1968 Honda CD175 or Sloper as it was nicknamed, has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – ignition key being the most obvious. We also noted that the tank is rather grotty inside and there is a crack to the rear of the front mudguard.

The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. The forks and yokes look straight. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments and switches look ok and move freely. The carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is slightly faded and has some stains and marks. The seat although slightly worn looks good and sturdy. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. The standard exhaust is solid but has some marks/light pitting.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carb will need attention.
