This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1976 Honda CB500T has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

  As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – battery, front and rear LH footpegs, front footpeg hangers, control box light and top and RH grip. The seat cover is torn and the paintwork is faded but it's a great start to a project bike!

The wheels are straight but there are a few rust spots n the bright chrome, working brakes.

The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome.

The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl.

Instruments look ok and switches move freely.

The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

The paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside.

The seat base is solid but there are some rust spots.

The indicators are tidy.

The chain guard is tidy.

Both mud guards are straight and bright.

There are some small holes in the silencers.

The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
