This 1977 Honda CB400F has recently been imported from USA.
This and the fact it's only showing 17455 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing –
mirrors and battery being the most obvious.
There is a dent in the LH side of the tank,
the paint is faded with a few marks and much of the bright chrome is pitted/peeling.
The wheels are straight but the rear chrome rims are badly pitted.
The forks and yokes look straight with light pitting.
The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
The throttle is stuck.
The seat base is solid but has some surface rust.
The indicators are tidy.
The chain guard is straight but the chrome is peeling.
Both mud guards are solid but the chrome is pitted/peeling.
The standard exhaust is solid but has a stain.
The engine is cosmetically clean.
We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
